NMR Training

Individuals who wish to use the NMR facility will be required to undergo a training course. The course will last approximately 2 days and will cover sample preparation, spectrometer tuning, pulse calibrations, gradient shimming, basic 1D experiements and basic 2D experiments including N15 and C13 heteronuclear experiments.

The training course is aimed at the practical aspects of spectrometer usage. Courses in the theoretical aspects of NMR specroscopy will be provided as part of the Program in Biomolecular structure. All users are strongly urged to attend these classes.
