NMR SCHEDULES

Schedules for the NMR Spectrometers can be viewed through an online calendar. Select the machine you want to see below and select "Public Access" from the logon screen

500 MHz        600 MHz

 Booking NMR Time

Requests for NMR time should be emailed to David Jones (david.jones@uchsc.edu) at least 1 week in advance of the time that you need. Time will be allocated primarily in 1 day slots. Although you may request shorter periods. 

Please include the following information 

1. The amount of time needed 
2. The experiments you will be running  
3. The types of samples that you will be using. 
4. Any special considerations, e.g. sample is only stable for 3 days.

NOTE ON 500 : Mondays on the 500 MHz spectrometer are set aside for groups that need to acquire short 1D experiments.

Instrument time will be allocated on an equitable basis so that everyone has a chance to collect their data in as reasonable time as possible. You will receive an email confirming your booking.

Please remember the following considerations: 

• If for some reason you cannot use your allocated time please let me know so that I can find someone else to use the spectrometer. 

• If someone has booked NMR time they have priority. If the machine aapears to be vacant, you should not use it unless you have contacted that person. Voice mail and/or email is NOT acceptable.  

• If you decide to use time that is vacant on the schedule please email me here so that we can record this information.
