Mass Spectroscopy/Proteomics
1) method development for the analysis of integral membrane proteins within complex biological samples
2) identification of lipid embedded amino acid residues of membrane proteins using mass spectrometry
3) biomarker profiling for fatty liver disease, heart failure, and alcoholism

Macromolecule structure
1) high-throughput characterization of membrane protein topology using mass spectrometry
2) identification of protein modifications
